hello, i have gotta write about my new phil and teds vibe. ITS FANTASTIC, firstly i was really nervous getting it as i had also read some of the bad reviews and i am so glad i followed my instinct and bought one.

i am now free to leave the house after having a c section and a toddler aged 21 months i was house bound . i deliberated for 34 weeks on whether to buy one . well i can fit the two of them in perfectly the coocon is perfectly warm and cosy for this weather and my little girl just goes straight to sleep in it shes warm and protected and really comfy while i can see her clearly.( my only faULt is that shes now 4 weeks old and after being a 9 lbs baby shes now 10 1/2 lbs and also long i think she will grow out of it quite quickly which i hope not)>

my boy the tall 21 month old was able to tell me straight away where he would sit out front and was thrilled at the high ride he gets he loves to sit in the buggy now and its not a battle when he wants to walk. i find the brake system fantastic i have had no problems and it really is so secure. should i need to run after my son suddenly in the park i can lock the pram in a second after all the other buggys that i have had fiddling with foot brakes i think this is ingenious!!! and fair enough it takes two hands to unlock it that is not an issue what so ever as when you are ready to move surely you will have both hands on the buggy.oi fewel that it is a big added saftey feature easy to use.

the room underneath is huge and really all you need for two children. i just bought the base bag also which means i do not need to carry a bag at all. and can lift this out i would also recomend this. the only issue or complaint i would have is that my vibe did not come wiTH the foam padding on the seat and phil and teds have said that they no longer do this one as its too expensive to manufacture, but my son seems to be very comfy anyhow ,on the new fabric cushioned padding. overall i wish i had known how easy it would be to have two children with one of these buggy’s.

as i would not have carried so much anxiety during the pregnancy about how i would manage this is just a total new lease of live. if you are in any

doubt about spending the huge amount of money that it costs as did it took me 4 weeks to take the plunge i would say GO FOR IT. the freedom is so worth it, and it fits with a tilt in a very narrow doorway that we have.

I’ve had the Vibe for almost a year now and have had more than my fair share of problems with it. The first few months were fine, but then…

    - the aluminium frame broke at a welding point; this was replaced by the people we bought it from but ONLY the frame was replaced. It was a big hassle to remove all the fabric parts from the old buggy and to attach it to the new buggy

    - the new frame doesn’t match the fitting of the old, front tyre very well which makes the it fit very stiffly and thus difficult to manoeuvre

    - The inner tyres have needed replacing twice

    - All 3 tyres now need replacing as they’ve gone bald; we live in Central London so aren’t going over any rough terrain (unless you count Hackney as rough terrain…). This has proved somewhat difficult as the tyres to the Vibe are unique.

    - the fabric in the doubles seat and basket is wearing thin, close to ripping through

As a separate point, the headroom on the doubles seat is limited. The frame goes completely around the seat which means that if you have your toddler in the doubles seat their head/neck is resting awfully uncomfortably on this bar. If you have your infant in the doubles seat this normally results in their head being smushed underneath it – again, pretty uncomfortable looking. In contrast, the Sport doubles seat doesn’t have this problem – the frame doesn’t come over the top of the seat.

Several of my friends own the Sport and haven’t experienced any of these problems. If I had to do it over again, I’d definitely go for the Sport; the (ridiculous) cost and problems of the Vibe just aren’t worth it.

    Hope this was helpful!

It was a great decision to buy this item.

It is lightweight and manoeuvrable, and all the features are straight forward to use.

It folds beautifully and is very compact – especially when you remove the wheels which is so easy to do.

was not sure whether to buy this model or the Sport but after borrowing a Sport when we tried the Vibe we much preferred it. We bought ours in black which has been easy to to keep clean.

    pros

    lightweight

    manoeuvrability

    compact fold

    adapability – grows with family

    comfortable

    easy to use brake

    cons

More expensive than the Sport – but we think it’s definitely worth it.

Great pushchair but you cannot get spare tyres for it. Ours wore through after 7 months and the tyres are a special size unique to the Vibe. Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!

a fantastic looking pushchair. couldnt wait to get my hands on this as im a pushchair fanatic and ive tried nearly all of them. this is the creme de la creme absolutley amazing. it looks stunning, i have the red and black and is really comfy for both my children a 3 year old and a 10 mth old. it does everything you could wish for. i had the side by side buggy, the phil & ted sport. but you just cant beat this. it folds easily pushes like a dream. the only thing i would change is the brake you have to be careful not to put it on while the buggy is moving. i would highly reccomend this to anyone with two children, trust me i should no this is my 32nd pushchair in the last 3 years, its the best so far.
