However, some parents are not too bothered about colour coding and prefer to buy travel systems for baby as separate units. This can be an advantage as sometimes the car seat with a particular system may not work very well with your vehicle. It is always apt to choose the car seat first then look at the rest of the travel system for suiting your needs. Ensure that the seat you choose snaps into place quickly and easily. Some car seats can be installed easily without placing the system base which is an advantage if you have to switch vehicles in a short time while travelling.
